It was formed to carry out civil construction works, mainly in Gujarat State, like road construction, canal/dam’s construction, canal lining and other similar works.

Later on, in 1996, in view of the growing operations, the firm was converted into a limited company with style of Kalthia Engg. & Construction Ltd. 

The directors of the company (a team of father and his two sons) are professionals and capable of carrying on the business as all of them are civil engineers and having vast experience in handling the government contracts relating to roads, canals and dams.

In view of the past track of the company, it holds AA Class contractors certificate from Govt of Gujarat, which makes them eligible for bidding for high value government contract.

The company is in possession of latest machinery like hot mix plant, wet mix plant, paver machinery, JCB loader, L & T pokline, graders, drum mix plant, sensor paver, dampers, tendum roller, road roller etc. In view of having latest machinery owned, the company is having competitive edge over other contractors.
